Our Farming Story
Who we are:
Windy Acres Family Farm is located on beautiful five acres in Thompson River Estates, near Savona BC. Our farm is surrounded by gardens, an orchard, and free-run chickens.
We are excited to share our baked goods, our produce, and farm eggs.

Meet the creator and founder!

I have been a Stay at Home mom for most of the last 20+ years. Curt and I have raised 5 great kids. One of my passions has always been to create homemade, healthy meals from ingredients that were homegrown or sourced locally. Now that our kids have grown, I have decided to use that knowledge and experience to start up a small business where I get to do what I have always loved to do: Create and grow a product that is wholesome and fresh.

From 2014-2017 we operated a small market stand that ran on the honor system selling fruit and vegetables we grew on a 1/4 acre of land. In 2018 we expanded that to the local Farmer's Market which now also includes sourdough breads, pretzels, various pastries, and farm fresh eggs. Right from the get go the kids were involved and still are now as much as they can.

And now in 2025 my daughter Haley has joined me in the bakery! Working side by side is a dream come true having one of my girls officially join me. She is bringing her own flavor (and seriously good ideas) to the bakery, and I am looking forward to many great bake days and more amazing products for our costumers!

Our Commitment
Each baked good is made in our farm kitchen, focused around healthy yet flavorful options, natural ingredients, and locally grown products. We have worked to create a variety of baked treats to cater to the entire palate, from the rustic smell of a sourdough loaf, the sweet taste of a fruit galette, to a savory pretzel. We love to experiment and always have new ideas and creations up our sleeves.
Our free run chickens spend their days scratching the soil, foraging in our pasture, enjoying a natural diet and producing protein rich eggs with deep yellow yolk. We gather, clean, and sort the eggs every day so they are fresh and ready for market
